Just like the Fox Body Mustang paved the way for a better-handling SN95, the S550 laid the groundwork for improvements to the S650. The newest Mustang features noticeable noise, vibration, and harshness reductions over its predecessor. It's a transition from decent to good. Yet, for many Mustang enthusiasts, good isn't good enough when it comes to the chassis.
