Hoods

The 2011-2014 Mustang had a distinct Mustang look while also looking uniquely modern when driving down the street or racetrack. With a unique design, in addition to an all-new motor to roast tires, the Mustang performed better than ever. To cover the all-new motors, the hood of these cars had to be enough to stand out even among each other. With the car being as customizable as it is, the option to upgrade the hood of these cars makes your car as usable on the track as any racing hood while standing out in person.

Upgrading your stock hood to a custom one is a major change to the exterior of your car is a good way to change the side profile, engine cooling, and overall appearance of your car for relative ease. Many options offer heat extractors as vents running down the middle or just off-center on both sides, but the various cowl hoods work to let the engine breathe more easily while driving. Any of these options will give your S197 a distinctive and unique look that is still very obviously Mustang across the board.

Here at Steeda, we have been developing, modifying, and racing the Mustang for over 30 years and in that time we have seen which parts truly perform when added to a car. We have seen firsthand what hoods work to benefit these cars under hard driving as well as look the best when standing still, and have chosen to carry these for you to use on your own build. With options from major names in the industry, you can be sure that your Mustang's hood will be high-quality and will look perfect on your car.
