1979-1993 Fox Body Ford Mustang Parts & Accessories
During the late 1970s, Ford was upon a significant crossroads to develop the third-generation Mustang. After a very criticized second-generation pony in the Mustang II, enthusiasts craved a stallion that would harness the legendary success from Mustang's original 1960s era. Luckily, in 1979, the Mustang community and enthusiasts received their wish to get a revolutionary model to turn muscle cars' tide. The Fox Body Mustang was unlike any previous pony ever assembled with a shorter wheelbase, sloped rear deck, and a bold new front fascia. The first half of its generation comprised a front fascia that came to be known as the four-eyed Fox Body, simply because of the four squared headlights. While the last half of the generation brought the design to more uniform and rectangular headlights.
