Leveling Kits

Many trucks may look slightly off to people when they first see them. Trucks, with their empty space over the rear axles, tend to weigh quite a lot less over the rear end than the front end because they are designed for heavy carrying use to counteract the weight of the engine. In theory, the design works brilliantly, counterbalancing the weight of the front with the rear when fully loaded or towing behind it. However in practice, it can make your truck look off-balance if you focus heavily on appearance. If that is an important factor to you, the installation of a leveling kit might be the best solution for you.

The F-150 is designed to work properly as it sits from the factory, but the installation of a leveling kit will get it to sit exactly how you want. There are some benefits to installing these kits to trucks as well outside of basic appearance changes. These kits do slightly lower the rear entry to your truck as well, making it easier for passengers to access seating. Additionally, since it lowers the bed slightly, it is easier to put cargo in the bed of the truck. This slight improvement in truck leveling makes a noticeable difference driving as well, keeping it more planted on the road as well.

Here at Steeda, we take the experience we have with racing for over 30 years and we apply it to all of our tech and development to ensure the final outcome is exactly what you want. We have worked to find and develop the most usable leveling kits for the F-150 to ensure you can enjoy your truck more than ever before. We have tested these kits on our personal vehicles as well as our work-ready models and can vouch for the quality and usability of these parts.
