Full Stack Web Developer (Valdosta, GA)

Steeda Autosports is seeking out a Full Stack Web Developer to join our rapidly growing marketing team at our Valdosta, GA location. This detail-oriented, enthusiastic individual will be responsible for working with our Marketing and Product Development teams on creating an unforgettable e-Commerce web experience that will keep customers coming back for more.

This enthusiastic, well-versed individual will be responsible for working with our retail website front end and back end, along with our inventory management software, and developing creative solutions to improve UX, target conversion rate, increase site speed, and more! We are looking to expand our existing marketing efforts through the use of technology, and this is a position to grow within the company.

Responsibilities:
  • This position will work closely with the E-Commerce Marketing Director, along with Content and Product Development to develop web tools to increase site efficiency and offer solutions to aid users in the buying process.
  • Oversee web development projects from idea to completion.
  • Implementing features and functionality in the form of tools to streamline content & operations.
  • Developing front-end website styling and architecture.
  • Working with site hosting platform & site plugins to develop, and modify back-end website applications.
  • Working with API connections between website, inventory management and order fulfillment software.
  • Tests & ensures responsiveness of code on a regular basis.
  • Produce test pages for review and make revisions to content based on feedback received.
  • Work alongside the creative team for web design features that aid conversion.
  • Meet with other teams to gain an understanding of what content they’re looking for, and develop assets based on their requests.

Education & Experience:
  • 2-3 years of web development experience in a retailer or agency setting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar.
Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hard deadline marketing environment.
  • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.

Steeda Autosports is seeking out a Warehouse Manager to join our rapidly growing team at our Valdosta, GA location. This organized, experienced individual will be responsible for managing our warehouse and fulfillment operations out of our 100,000 square foot Valdosta, Georgia facility.

Responsibilities:
  • This position will work closely with the Director of Manufacturing to ensure smooth logistics flow of warehouse.
  • Oversees and manages shipping, receiving, and assembly departments.
  • Ensuring employees have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents forsuccessful completion of tasks.
  • Monitoring the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Responsible for overall logistics flow of warehouse.
  • Conducts physical inventory, compares results against computerized inventory.
  • Ensures that all inventory is stored in correct locations throughout the warehouse.
  • Forecasts and coordinates with Purchasing on when inventory must be replenished.
  • Collaborates with other departments to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
  • Enforces proper safe operating procedures themselves and in their staff.
  • Determines effective layout and utilization of warehouse space for efficient operations.
  • Responsible for identifying space requirements for warehouse activities.
