New Product & Merchandising Manager (Valdosta, GA)

Steeda Autosports is seeking out a New Product & Merchandising Manager to join our rapidly growing team at our Valdosta, GA location. This creative, outside-of-the-box thinker will be responsible for seeking out hot, new brands & product lines, sourcing private label vendors, scaling the Steeda.com product catalog, and much more!

We support and offer performance parts for Ford Mustang, Bronco, Bronco Sport, Mach-E, Explorer, Escape, Fusion, Fiesta, Focus, F-Series trucks, and more! Here at Steeda, we are looking to expand our product catalog through the growth of new vendor relationships & product lines, and this is a key position to grow within the organization!

Responsibilities:
  • This position will report to and work alongside the Director of Marketing to build the Steeda.com catalog with new retail and private label products.
  • Oversee New Product & Purchasing Assistant workload and work alongside to provide company ERP system and website with SEO-friendly product information.
  • Be a subject matter expert on anything Ford and Mustang, customers, and their objectives and values.
  • Determines current and prospective customers' needs by performing market research and competitive analysis to add revenue-building product lines while keeping profit margins intact.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with in-house Manufacturing and Engineering teams to develop and source new products.
  • Build product catalog by working with top-notch brands in the industry.
  • Negotiate vendor marketing co-op programs to leverage new product awareness amongst Steeda's consumer base working alongside our in-house marketing team.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Steeda and its features from others in primary market segments.
  • Monitor existing vendors for new products, updated product images, MAP price updates, and more.
  • Obtain product information, photos, features & benefits, and more for new product additions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or similar required.
  • 5+ years of automotive industry (OE or aftermarket) experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
Qualifications:
  • A personal passion and strong knowledge for Mustang and Ford performance parts and accessories.
  • Well-versed understanding of the automotive aftermarket and consumer demand.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and a robust experience in building vendor relationships.
  • Knowledge to weigh in and influence long-term category objectives with leadership.
  • Experience with ACES and PIES product data.
  • Ability to measure KPIs and report to leadership on current and future projects.
  • Can thrive in a fast-paced, hard deadline environment.
  • High attention to detail with a sense of pride and ownership over your work.
  • Very strong PC skills required - including Microsoft Office and CSVs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a can-do team mentality.

Manufacturing & Engineering

Warehouse Manager (Valdosta, GA)

Steeda Autosports is seeking out a Warehouse Manager to join our rapidly growing team at our Valdosta, GA location. This organized, experienced individual will be responsible for managing our warehouse and fulfillment operations out of our 100,000 square foot Valdosta, Georgia facility.

Responsibilities:
  • This position will work closely with the Director of Manufacturing to ensure smooth logistics flow of warehouse.
  • Oversees and manages shipping, receiving, and assembly departments.
  • Ensuring employees have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents forsuccessful completion of tasks.
  • Monitoring the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Responsible for overall logistics flow of warehouse.
  • Conducts physical inventory, compares results against computerized inventory.
  • Ensures that all inventory is stored in correct locations throughout the warehouse.
  • Forecasts and coordinates with Purchasing on when inventory must be replenished.
  • Collaborates with other departments to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
  • Enforces proper safe operating procedures themselves and in their staff.
  • Determines effective layout and utilization of warehouse space for efficient operations.
  • Responsible for identifying space requirements for warehouse activities.
  • Coordinates with Director of Manufacturing on routine equipment issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
  • Associate's degree in Business or similar required.
  • 5+ years of warehouse and/or distribution experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in warehouse/distribution preferred.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hard deadline environment.
  • Strong proficiency with NetSuite, RF-SMART, and Ship/FX or similar applications.
  • Certified to operate a forklift.

Welder/Fabricator (Valdosta, GA)

Our growing Team is looking for someone with mig and tig welding experience with an eye for detail.

Qualifications:

  • Mig Welding experience: 5 years (Required).
  • Tig Welding: 5 years (Preferred).

Applicant needs to be able to set up and operate a variety of CNC Machines, Lathes and Mills, to produce precision parts and instruments.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years machining experience (Required).
  • Programming experience (Preferred).
  • Ability to fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines.
  • Applying knowledge of mechanics.
  • Shop mathematics.

  • 10+ years of automotive experience including but not limited to suspension, driveline repairs, installs & basic service (oil changes, wheel alignment, etc.).
  • ASE certified in Suspension/Drivetrain
  • Strong Ford IDS knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of automotive experience including but not limited to basic service (oil changes, wheel alignment, etc.).
  • Experience with adjustable suspension setups (sway bars, coil overs, spring rates, etc.) and how to properly adjust them.
