Magnachargers supercharger system for the 2011-12 5.0L Mustang features an Eaton TVS 2300 supercharger. This unit delivers instant throttle response and boost over the entire RPM range.

Magnacharger systems come complete with everything needed for installation including a cast aluminum intake manifold with intercooler core, intercooler pump and heat exchanger, factory 'push lock' style connectors for the fuel system, high capacity fuel injectors, fuel rails, and all the plumbing and related hardware.

Looking to do the installation yourself? Magnacharger supplies a hand held computer programmer with the proper ECU calibration for the supercharger allowing the do it yourself enthusiast to install and properly program the system for a complete installation.

I've wanted to do a supercharger for years and finally decided to make the move. I bought this supercharger from another vender that no longer carries Magnuson Products back in April 2014. It was a really tough decision because I didn't want to give up my strut tower brace, I wanted to do the install myself which meant it couldn't be too complicated and I wanted the instant boost of a positive displacement supercharger. I don't regret the choice one bit. I installed it on my 2011 Mustang GT Premium Brembo coupe in my garage and uploaded the CARB legal tune provided with the kit expecting 470 RWHP. I did a lot of research and found that no one installing this unit in the media went with the emissions legal tune. I live near Atlanta and we have emissions tests so I used the provided CARB tune. Turns out the car put down 518 RWHP and 439 lb-ft of torque. My only power mod at this point was an axle back exhaust and an x-pipe worth maybe 3 dyno proven RWHP combined. This may not be a super popular model but it has to be the easiest supercharger to install. You don't need to drill and tap the timing cover, hack up your car or re-pin factory wiring harness connectors. Oh and the Boss 302 and BMR strut tower braces clear it with room to spare. You will need to modify the Magnuson supercharger coolant reservoir mounting bracket to run the strut tower brace but that's a fairly simple project. I hope this makes your decision easier regardless of what model you choose.
