SEMA 2017: Steeda 'Stangs and the most suspension for S550s

You love Mustangs. We love Mustangs. We love that you love Mustangs! The opportunity to continuously innovate in the world of Mustang performance is extremely exciting and gratifying for us, especially because you, our customers, get to enjoy it with us! SEMA is a chance for us to showcase what we are up to behind the scenes, and this year's show indicated one thing if nothing else - Steeda knows suspension! At last week's 2017 SEMA Show, we had three Mustangs on display, which together featured the most 2015-2018 Mustang suspension parts of any manufacturer present!

The three vehicles were built in collaboration with Dream Giveaway Garage, Nitto Tire, Air Design, and Bubba's Exotic Motorsports, respectively: the one-off, 2017 Shelby GT350X; the 2018 Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost; and lastly, the 2017 Precision Turbo Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost. We're very excited about these builds, and we hope you are too!

Dream Giveaway - Shelby GT350X

This one-of-a-kind Mustang was built as a fundraising raffle prize in connection with Dream Giveaway and Nitto Tire. The giveaway includes our custom 2017 GT350X AND a 1965 Shelby GT350CR for the classic car lover! The car puts down 875-hp, featuring Ford's Voodoo V8 with an added 2.9L Whipple supercharger. Coupled along with this is Steeda's full G-Trac suspension, including caster/camber plates, billet aluminum vertical links, IRS alignment kit, and more. With a phenomenal suspension system and that much power, the GT350X needs the proper tires to maintain traction and handling, so it is equipped with custom raised white-letter Nitto NT-555 G2 tires. To top it off, the vehicle has custom colored front and rear fascia, with custom plates, badges, and embroidery, all to show that this 2017 GT350X truly is the one and only!

Air Design 2018 2.3L EcoBoost Mustang

Air Design is a leader in aerodynamics innovation, just as Steeda is a leader in innovating Mustang performance. Putting the two companies together is bound to produce brilliant results, and this 2018 Mustang proves it! The vehicle is equipped with Air Design's custom-built front splitter and rear diffuser, as well as its own Ford-licensed hood vents, air curtains, side scoops, and window louvers. While these parts are not yet released (they will be soon), together they give the vehicle an elegant but sporty appearance that perfectly portrays this Mustang - classy yet powerful.

On Steeda's side of the collaboration, we equipped the vehicle with induction upgrades, as well as a variety of our proprietary G-Trac suspension components. The Steeda ProFlow EcoBoost Cold Air Intake is a simple and effective way to increase power. Without the need for a tune, all that's required with this upgrade is a quick-install, and performance will immediately be upped. Elsewhere under the hood, the vehicle features our strut-tower brace and upper strut mounts, coolant expansion tank, and braided brake lines. However, we know that performance means nothing if you can't control it!

In the suspension department, we spared no detail with this 'Stang. It is equipped with our full adjustable-suspension, in addition to front and rear sway bars, polyurethane bushing vertical links, IRS alignment kit, our extreme G-Trac brace, and much more! Bubba's Exotic Motorsports 2017 Turbocharged 2.3L EcoBoost Mustang

BEM is constantly creating unique, custom vehicles that perform with style. This Mustang is a collaboration between a variety of automotive innovators, featuring custom door panels with a red and black perforated suede interior embroidered with the BEM logo, a roll-cage, and rear seat delete to give it that race feel. Getting into suspension upgrades, this car has Steeda DNA in every nook and cranny! Aside from the very visible red Steeda strut tower brace in the engine bay, the vehicle has these S550 Steeda parts:

As if you weren't already drooling, we threw in a Steeda Tri-Ax Race Short Throw Shifter for some serious power shifting, and a few Steeda decals for good looks to match. The car also provides a home to a Precision Turbo 5252 set-up on a stock-block, which has it laying down 597rwhp!

We are extremely happy with how these three Mustangs perform, look, and sound! If you didn't get a chance to vet them in-person at SEMA, you can read more in-depth about each build here.
