Description

If you've lowered your Mustang GT, EcoBoost, or V6 and are looking to dial in precise suspension settings for track day or daily spirited driving, look no further! Our Steeda engineers have been hard at work perfecting our S550 Mustang Rear Adjustable Camber Arms to improve even further on the factory IRS suspension components. The factory stock camber arm is made to withstand lots of force, but Steeda has found a way to improve the factory camber arm even more.

The bushings on the stock camber arms are soft, and just like any soft bushing there is deflection experienced under hard cornering. Bushing deflection causes your wheel and tire to lean outward, letting the tires lose camber while cornering. The loss of camber results in a reduction in grip and makes your powerful Mustang's handling less predictable. Make the most of the money you put into your alignment and tires by maintaining proper camber no matter where you are driving, with our Steeda Rear Adjustable Camber Arms.

The factory suspension comes with many bushings which also bind and hinder the suspension from articulating. Our Steeda rear camber arms get rid of two of these bushings, eliminating their artificial spring rate and ensuring that your suspension has the lowest amount of friction possible. Let your suspension articulate the way it should with our Steeda Camber Arms.

Our engineers have gone above and beyond with design, development, simulations, and testing to provide our customers with the highest-quality adjustable camber arms on the market. Our Steeda S550 Mustang Rear Adjustable Camber Arms can be adjusted from +2 degrees camber all the way to -5 degrees camber, more than enough adjustability for any street or race set up. Due to its natural bend design, our Steeda camber arms were brutally strength-tested because of the amount of load this particular suspension component takes on a daily basis.

Our camber arms completely replace the soft factory bushings with nylon-coated spherical bearings which prevent dirt from penetrating the bearings and ensuring the rod ends will never need to be replaced. The Delrin on one side and spherical bearing on the other side completely rids the deflection of the factory bushings - reducing deflection allows you to maintain proper camber during hard cornering without increasing NVH at all. Maintaining proper camber during cornering allows you to prevent the loss of grip and allows for a more responsive and predictable handling car. This leaves the handling feeling more direct and positive while also making the car much more capable on the track. Stop throwing away money by replacing your unevenly worn tires due to improper rear camber - replace your stock camber arms with Steeda and never look back.

Our Adjustable Rear Camber Arms are manufactured from Aerospace grade 6061 aluminum for incredible strength. Spherical nylon-lined bearings are made with specific preloads imparted on the bearing, ensuring lowest amount of bind on the ball bearing as possible. One of the best features of our camber arm is the adjustability we give you without having to take the part off the car. To adjust your rear camber setting all you need to do is jack up your car, turn the middle nut and you're good to go.

Hi everybody Brian from Steeda.com here today to talk to you about the S550 Billet Adjustable Rear Camber Arm. Now many of you have lowered your car in preparation for going to the racetrack, preparation for going to the road course or just to have it look a little nicer and handle better on the street. We've got a nice Camber Correction Arm for you that can be used for any one of those purposes. We put a lot of thought and engineering into these arms. Full billet aluminum and billet steel I'm going to tell you a little bit more about the technicalities behind this arm at first the way it functions. This is designed to give you more camber adjustment, where you road racers, autocrossers and drag racers anyone of you know and understand contact patch. This will allow easy adjustability at static ride height. which means that you can adjust it on the fly for track conditions and/or the style of track that you're going to. Now as far as construction is concerned a lot of differences that set us apart as is usual with Steeda products. Billet aluminum arm into a chromoly nickel plated steel adjuster and more importantly, chromoly nickel plated steel insert. Now this is important because when you have dissimilar metals there can be a galling effect and when you have something as important as this control arm, you want to make sure that it holds up to the rigors that you're going to put it through. Whether it be autocrossing, drag racing with big slicks on the back or road racing with slicks at all four corners. So let's tell you a little bit more about that. Galling effect is we have two dissimilar materials and the stronger material being ie steel could potentially take the threads or pull the threads of the billet aluminum out. So we've used this insert to reinforce that to have steel with steel mating surfaces, to prevent any sort of galling effect. Furthermore with these arms we've integrated a Delrin Bushing at the inner most mounting point and a spherical bearing at the outer most point. The spherical bearing has integral dust boots on it to keep dust from getting inside. There also teflon line. This is very important from a durability standpoint again race applications, street applications and also good point to remind you that it is covered under a lifetime warranty as are any other Steeda products. Now these control arms offer wide range of adjustment again for any type of racing. You'd like more information about these control arms please post your questions below. Great product!
I used these in conjunction with several other Steeda parts and they worked great and allow for great adjustment. I don't know what they added by themselves, but with all the other items it made a huge difference! Very happy!

Rear adjustable camber arms
Was getting 1.7 60 ft. First time after I installed steady 1.5 60 ft that's with the Ford Fpr3 track road handling pack. I am also using everything steeda sells for the 2019 mustang gt except their cross member. If I had drag suspension maybe 1.3 or 1.4 I highly recommend any of their products. Everything I purchased from steeda was put on individually then tested. Each time there was a noticeable difference with the money.

Great, but beware
This product is very good. Does exactly what it's supposed to do, great adjustability, significantly lighter than the stock components, very clean finish. However, I've had issues where this gets loose sometimes. I had to use red thread locker to get it to stay... Please do this before you have any issues.

Adjustable Steeda Camber Arms
I installed these on my 2015 Mustang GT. I had no trouble with installation. When I mounted my tires and did a rough measurement they were off quite a bit. So I needed to adjust them multiple times before getting the measurements to be equal. I then took the car to get a realignment and it was nearly perfect. They did have to adjust the toe which was interesting seeing I thought the toe wasn't affected when installing these. Not a big deal because in the end the rear end is now set up perfectly.Still a five star rating even though the directions on how to actually adjust them wasn't very specific.

Well worth the price
I purchased these adjustable rear camber arms as a means to correct my rear camber after significantly lowering the car almost 2 inches. Installation using the supplied instructions was straightforward and not difficult, though I do have some additional pointers for those that follow. Where the instructions state to place the lockout tabs in the inboard mounting slots, then put the Delrin end of the control arm in the inboard slot and install the bolt, DON'T. You will continuously play catch with lockout tabs and get nowhere in the limited space. Instead, I found this worked for me. Put 1 lockout tab on the inboard bolt. Place the Delrin end the control arm into the inboard slot. Install the bolt through the inboard mount until 1/4 of thread shows. Put the second lockout tab on the threaded end. Orient both locking tabs with holes inboard until engaged in factory mount slot. Put on nut and snug down until lockout tabs stay in slots. I also suggest adjusting out the arm until the outboard bolt can be installed versus trying to manhandle the knuckle into position for the outboard bolt. Much easier, especially since I wasn't concerned with trying to match the OEM arm length. What I did after putting the car on stands and removing the wheels, was put a straightedge vertically across the face of the brake rotor and slide it down to contact the floor. I then made a mark on the floor at the inboard edge of the straightedge. Once the arms were installed, I adjusted until the straightedge aligned with the floor mark again. This will allow driving around until you can schedule an alignment which is still a must. This definitely solved my camber problem due to lowering, and has all the adjustment range you could ever need. I also noticed a better feel in the rear with increased compliance. Well worth the price.
