Meet The Team: Jonathan Samer And His 2006 Mustang GT
When it comes to Mustang owners, #TeamSteeda has a ton of them. And that includes Jonathan Samer, one of our technicians that works out of our Pompano Beach, FL Ford Service Center. Jonathan owns a very tastefully modified 2006 Mustang GT in that iconic Legend Lime finish.
Being a technician, Jonathan has the ability to do all of his modification work himself. He's added a ton of mods to his S197 Mustang to make this Legend Lime machine a real head-turner. How did you get into Mustangs and being a mechanic?
It all started a long time ago when I got my first Mustang, a 2002. I just happened to fall in love from there. I say, "it became a lifestyle." Then, I ended up getting this one, and went to UTI for automotive tech with some Ford credentials in there. I worked at a Ford dealership and decided I wanted a little more performance in my life; so I decided to apply to Steeda and here I am!
How did you find out about Steeda?
I had some Steeda parts on my old Mustang, and I have the same suspension setup on this one. The Ultralite springs, love them, and drops the car just enough. Just doing some research looking for performance shops to apply to, I knew Steeda was a good name that was strong in the industry, and they focus on racing more than anything else!
