Ford Racing's Hot Rod Camshaft set will give your 3V GT Mustang the "lopey" idle that was so popular with the older pushrod 5.0L engines and other muscle cars, but was not available in a camshaft set that also worked with the stock valve springs.
These cams are a direct bolt on replacement and work perfectly with your original factory valve springs and valve train, requiring no additional parts and the labor that comes with those extra parts.
Ford Racing's Hot Rod cams increase valve lift from 11 to 12mm. Intake / exhaust duration is 221 / 240 degrees (@ 0.050" lift), lobe separation is 110 degrees.
They are capable of up to 6800 RPM on production valve train. For best power results long tube headers are highly recommended.
Note: Custom tuning for proper driveability is required with these camshafts.
