The 2013-14 Shelby GT500 is arguably the pinnacle of Mustang engineering to date. Part of that marvel is the awesome brake setup Ford graced it with. The engineers at Ford Racing did their homework and released the FRPP M-2300-T Brake Kit, allowing you to bring your 2005-2014 GT, 2012-13 Boss 302, and 2007-12 GT500 up to original equipment 2013-2014 Shelby braking specs.
This front and rear Ford Racing brake upgrade kit includes massive six-piston Brembo calipers mated to 15 inch Brembo front rotors. The front calipers are gloss black powdercoated with white Brembo lettering. Rear calipers are single piston GT500 paired with huge 13.8 inch rotors.
Please note: a 19 inch wheel is required for brake clearance. New axle mounting flanges are required for this rear brake upgrade, so be sure and grab our finned differential cover with drain/fill plugs and a couple of quarts of Royal Purple gear oil. Because you'll need to bleed your brakes, be sure to also have plenty of Motorcraft Brake Fluid on hand as well.
