Steeda Mustang Sport Suspension Package (2015-2022)

I had Steeda install the Comfort Suspension Package along with shock mounts and camber plates in late April on my 2015 EB Premium. This is far and away the best upgrade I have installed on my Mustang. I was on vacation when I had them installed, so I was able to immediately notice the ride was smoother on the interstate. When you went over bumps in the road or speed bumps, the initial hit was less jarring. After I got home, I was able to take it up to the North Georgia Mountains to try the handling. It took a while to wipe the smile off of my face that day. I was able to take 35 mph turns at 60 mph. The car was planted and level. There was no sense that I would loose control. It even helps when turning on the main road from where I live. When turning left quickly from a stop, sometimes the back end used to lose grip. Now it does not.

This kit came with everything needed and was a straight forward install. Adding the optional camber plates and shock mounts really made this a top tier kit. The sport progressive spring: It is how the stock car should have come as factory. The ride quality is smoother than the linear non performance springs and their performance is enough to make you want to go on a road course. Although these are the most comfortable of the springs Steeda offers, I am amazed at the performance that these offer without being linear and stiffer. The nose dive is expertly controlled and inspires later breaking. When I bought this package I thought to myself will this be too little of a change from stock? I am so glad I chose these, the comfort remains yet I gained an enormous amount of performance, win/win! The non adjustable pro action struts/shocks: The dampening on these are amazing. They really control the sport progressive springs very well. The bouncyness that both pp and non pp gt's have is gone, literally gone. The camber plates: My alignment friend was pleasantly surprised that Steeda tacked the bottom bolts unlike many other manufacturers that don't on the adjustable camber plates (Best camber plates I've ever seen) They worked perfectly putting me back in spec with the sport progressive springs and pro action shocks/struts. The rear billet shock mounts: Comparing the stock ones with these is night and day once you see the rubber surrounding the top of the shock rather than the shinny Steeda mounts with no rubber. The install of the Steeda shock mounts was somewhat difficult due to the angle with which they sit on the holes in the frame, but once installed are a great product. Thank you Steeda for hearing s550 owners on the forums yearning for an answer about rear shock mount failure on lowered cars. Overall: This is truly a comprehensive package that will give you performance with no sacrifice in daily driving (I mean it!). The design, construction, and performance are truly top tier and left an impression with my mechanics. The only complaint I could possibly see is that the one inch drop might be too much for an elderly person.
