Steeda's 3rd link chassis mount allows you to adjust your pinion angle and anti-squat geometry as well as help diminish wheel hop during acceleration. This upper mount includes 4 adjustment positions to help you dial in your car's handling perfectly.

To achieve more anti-squat, simply mount the 3rd link in a progressively higher position. The more anti-squat you have, the quicker your weight will transfer to your rear tires under acceleration making it perfect for drag racers and road racers alike.

Replaces the thin, stamped steel, factory chassis mount. Made from 1/4 inch thick steel. Accepts the factory 18mm chassis mount bolt found only on the 2011 and up models. Provides four adjustment holes to allow for intricate axle pinion angle and anti-squat geometry adjustment. Powdercoated for looks and corrosion resistance.

Note: Only compatible with 555-4112 , 555-4116 and 555-4113 mustang control arms. Not compatible with OEM or other aftermarket upper control arms.

Excellent Parts
The Steeda parts (Upper Chassis Mount Bracket & Upper Control Arm) are well designed and constructed. The instructions are good, but I'll add a couple of comments. The bolts that hold the bracket to the chassis are one-time use bolts, so plan to buy new ones. The large bolt under the back seat is torqued to 325 ft/lbs, so be prepared. The other two bracket bolts are 85 ft/lbs. The bolt attaching to the rear axle should be installed with the car at normal ride height, otherwise you put the wrong preload on the rubber bushing. Ford suggests marking the shock sleeves before lowering the axle and then returning it to the same mark before tightening. I haven't driven the car since the change (still snowing here) but the reduced flexibility of the assembly looks like it will cure the horrific axle hop my Boss has had.

If you plan on drag racing, auto crossing, road racing or whatever you fancy, this adjustable upper control arm mount will definitely help you fine tune your suspension for your application. Heavy duty
If you upgrade your UCA, grab this. The stock piece is flimsy and this is heavy duty. When used with Steeda UCA my wheel hop was 95% eliminated.

Must Install with Upper Control Arm
I got the upper control arm first and installed it with the factory upper mount. After some driving it definetly had a noticeable clunk while shifting. Everything was tight. Then I got this upper control arm mount and put it on and it not only 100% eliminated the clunk, it made the whole rear end of the car feel tighter and stiffer. It did not make any more noticeable noise either. Nobody makes better parts than Steeda. That's all I buy.

You're going to wish you had this
This bracket is much beefier than the stock one; with three adjustment points it's a no brainier. Three bolts hold it in: two above rear axel and the other under the rear seat. Be prepared to use a cheater bar for the interior, this bolt it torque to a million ft lbs. If you're thinking of getting the third member linkage you should get this bracket too, it will make it a lot easier get it all torqued to the right numbers while out of the car than when under it.
