Instead of just swapping your factory springs for a lower ride, this kit offers a complete handling upgrade with ST-style dampers, your choice of lowering springs, and optional camber bolts to get your alignment in spec. If you're looking to give your Explorer a better performing street suspension with a sportier feel and a lower stance, this kit will do the trick. We'll assemble everything you need and ship it right to your door ready for install.
Steeda Explorer ST Dampers: This package starts with our Explorer ST shocks and struts. They'll give your Non-ST Explorer improved handling and control, and restore the original ride quality and performance of your ST.
Choose Your Lowering Springs:
- Steeda Explorer Lowering Springs - Provide a 1 to 1-1/8" front and rear drop. High spring rates for improved handling, and retains factory comfort
- Eibach Explorer ST Pro-Kit Lowering Springs - Provide a 1.3" front and 1.6" rear drop. Progressive rates for comfort and performance when you need it.
- H&R Explorer AWD Lowering Springs ) - Provide a 1.6" front and 1.75" rear drop. Progressive rates for comfort and performance when you need it.
Front Camber Bolts: Front camber bolts are highly recommended to achieve proper alignment depending on your desired drop height.
Pre-Assembled by the Experts: This suspension kit ships to your door pre-assembled and ready for installation without the need for expensive specialty tools. Included are new OEM front strut top mounts, top and bottom spring isolators, dust covers, and bumps stops.
Note: Fits AWD Explorers only. Does not fit Hybrid models. Alignment recommended after install.
