Meet The Team: Riley McDowell And His SN95 Build

Here at Steeda, we take pride in both what we do and who we have working for us. One example of this is shown through Riley McDowell. Riley is our New Product & Merchandising Assistant, and while he may be young, he always makes sure we're bringing in top-notch brands and lines for the Steeda website. Riley’s project 1998 SN95 Mustang GT is proof that he loves cars and working on them on his own as well!

Riley has a background in the automotive world, getting his start with a Nissan 300ZX and his other project vehicle - a 1994 Ford F-150 with a 302 cubic inch motor. With his mechanical know-how and eagerness to learn everything in the industry, Riley has pretty much brought this ‘98 Mustang GT back to life with fresh paint, a new(er) engine, transmission, wheels, and much more - all while the car was only on a jack and jack stands.

About Riley McDowell Q&A

How did you get this car?

A few months after I started at Steeda, I decided it was time to get something to replace my Nissan 300ZX and I found a guy who was willing to trade this Mustang for it. My dad and I went out to get the car and to drive it all the way back after that.

What got you into cars?

Like a lot of people my age, Hot Wheels and video games. Started playing with them when I was young, got me hooked.

What's one of your best memories with this car?

A friend and I went to a parking lot one time at night and just did donuts. It was a lot of fun to do.
