This Proforged bumpsteer kit fitting your 2005-2014 S197 Mustang is designed as a direct fit upgrade for your lowered vehicle's existing outer tie rods. If you've lowered your Mustang, you may notice that your vehicle's roll center and suspension geometry have now changed, resulting in increased bumpsteer. This means that when you hit a bump, your steering rack, and therefore your steering wheel, will quickly jolt in the opposite direction of the bump which negatively impacts drivability and vehicle control. This kit replaces your factory outer tie rods with extended stud versions, lowering the angle of your tie rod to match that of your lower control arm as if your ride height was still stock. What this does is restore factory suspension geometry, eliminating bumpsteer and giving you better control of your vehicle. These outer tie rods feature a greaseable design for extended service life, and include washers and lock nuts for a complete install.
