CNC machined from billet aluminum bar. Each cover starts as solid billet, machined to exact tolerances rather than cast and finished. The result is a mounting rail that sits perfectly flat across its full length, eliminating the warping and porosity issues common in cast covers and providing a reliable, leak-free seal.
Broad rocker system compatibility. These covers fit both stock and aftermarket cylinder heads on the Ford 302 and 351W, and are tall enough to clear high-lift shaft rocker systems including Jesel and T&D configurations. Engine builders running aggressive valvetrain geometry do not need to search for a taller option.
Builder-friendly wall thickness. Despite their light weight, the covers are thick enough for an engine builder to tap and add fittings at the top or ends for breathers, PCV connections, or vacuum lines. The included Moroso oil fill cap fits the designated port, and the covers accept polishing, chrome plating, powder coating, or can be left in their natural billet finish.
