While the factory phasers are adequate for daily driving an occasional track use, high-performance and high-RPM applications can benefit from phasers built to handle increased oil pressure, allowing for finer control. The Ford Performance Cam Phasers feature a much lower oil leak rate, meaning their internal oil pressure is increased which gives your tune better phaser control at high RPM/load.
