No rotor leaves the facility without verification that disc alignment falls within spec, eliminating the thickness variation that causes brake pedal pulsation after a few thousand miles.
Gen 3 silver grey coating. EBC's latest corrosion-resistant coating replaces the former black etch paint with a far more durable silver grey finish applied directly at the casting plant immediately after machining and washing. Coating the rotor before surface oxidation can set in produces a more consistent bond. The silver hat and hub area also closely matches the appearance of factory rotors, so the front axle stays visually consistent with the rear if only one axle has been upgraded.
