Aerospace-grade aluminum and stainless steel throughout. The caliper brackets and disc bell are machined from aerospace-grade billet aluminum for strength without added unsprung weight. Every metal caliper fitting and disc drive bobbin is stainless steel, so corrosion does not compromise hardware over time. The Apollo-4 calipers themselves are cast, machined, painted, and assembled in the UK, holding to EBC's manufacturing philosophy rather than outsourcing to reduce cost.
Yellowstuff pads included as standard. EBC's Yellowstuff compound is the front pad supplied with every kit: a fast-street and track formulation that works from a cold road temperature and holds up through repeated heavy stops without glazing or fading. No pad upgrades to source separately, no compatibility guesswork.
