DBA's 5000 Series rotors provide all the benefits of their 4000 Series but feature a 2-piece design for improved weight savings, serviceability, and heat management. They accomplish this by using T6061-T6 black anodized aluminum hats for the hub mounting surface that reduces unsprung weight while providing a heat barrier between your outer rotor ring and wheel hub. The outer ring is constructed from high-carbon cast iron, and attaches to the hat using premium National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts for a secure connection. DBA also offers the outer ring separately for hassle-free future servicing, and backs this kit with a 1-year/12,000 mile warranty.
XS Drilled & Slotted Design: DBA's XS rotors feature a drilled and slotted design for maximum braking performance. The CNC machined symmetrical slots aid the exiting of brake dust, degassing, and provide smoother, quieter operation with improved pedal feel. The cross drilled holes further aid degassing, and also help keep your brakes cool under extreme conditions.
