They accomplish this by using T6061-T6 black anodized aluminum hats for the hub mounting surface that reduces unsprung weight while providing a heat barrier between your outer rotor ring and wheel hub. The outer ring is constructed from high-carbon cast iron, and attaches to the hat using premium National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts for a secure connection. DBA also offers the outer ring separately for hassle-free future servicing, and backs this kit with a 1-year/12,000 mile warranty.
T3 Slotted Design: What sets these rotors apart is DBA's revolutionary T3 slotted technology. DBA took their existing T2 slot design and implemented additional tri-symmetrical slots for even quieter operation, better brake response, and smooth operation. These CNC machined slots reduce noise while giving you a more responsive brake pedal feel. They also provide additional exit points for heat, dust, and gasses to escape, aiding brake bite.
