MartenWear Heat Treatment: Boundary offers this proprietary, second-stage heat treat process for most of their billet oil pump gears for applications demanding maximum strength and high-RPM capability. This process makes the outside gear surface extremely hard, long wearing, and more robust against debris ingestion. Boundary's MartenWear treated gears have been tested at upwards of 13,000 RPM; a perfect upgrade for hardcore street and track applications.
