A larger billet throttle body for more airflow. The Stage 1 system uses a single 92mm throttle body, while this Stage 2 upgrade steps up to a billet 112mm throttle body. A larger opening lets your supercharged 5.0L Coyote draw in more air at wide open throttle, which is exactly what a higher boost, higher output combination needs. Billet construction delivers precise machining, a strong and consistent build, and a clean look under the hood.
More boost from a billet pulley. The kit includes a billet 3.75" Whipple supercharger pulley that spins the supercharger faster, adding approximately 1 psi of additional boost over Stage 1. Extra boost means more air and more power, and it is one of the most effective ways to add output from a positive displacement supercharger. Swapping the pulley is a simple, proven change that fits directly into your existing Whipple system.
Updated calibration for the new hardware. Hardware only works as well as the tune behind it. The included Stage 2 calibration raises the RPM, airflow, and speed limits so the engine management can take full advantage of the larger throttle body and added boost. Whipple develops and tests its calibrations with the same attention to drivability that you expect from a factory vehicle, so you get the power without giving up smooth street manners.
