Once again you asked for it and Steeda has delivered! The team at Steeda was asked to come up with a lightweight Jacking Rail system that didn't add a bunch of weight to your 2015-2017 S550 Mustang. Made in-house from the same material we have used to keep Fox Mustangs from flexing for 25+ years, these Jacking Rails feature CAD-designed, laser cut, high-strength steel brackets and stout 2" x 1-1/2" steel tubing.

Powdercoated wrinkle black for a low key, yet durable finish, these will last a lifetime under your 2015-2017 S550 Mustang. Unlike the competition, Steeda includes Zinc-plated, flange-headed, grade 10.9 hardware - a simple bolt-in design that can be removed at any time as they use factory mounting holes. These allow you to jack up your Mustang with confidence anywhere along the jacking rail, preventing damage to your factory pinch welds. They provide a great point for jack stands and 2 post lifts. Lastly, these will work with Steeda's IRS Subframe Support Braces without interference. Steeda's new Ultra Lite Low-Profile Chassis Jacking Rails add strength and function to your modern muscle car.

Note: Convertible models require opening up the factory bracing hole to achieve proper fitment. It does not fit convertibles.

Purchase your Steeda S550 Mustang Ultra Lite Chassis Jacking Rails for your 2015-2017 Mustang GT, GT350, EcoBoost, or V6 at Steeda Autosports today!

Installation was a breeze
Okay, FEDEX just got here a little while ago with my jacking rails. I went straight out into the garage to install them. Here's my experience with installation: - Product came well packaged and wrapped in plastic, bubble wrap, and a couple foam inserts. The rails arrived with zero damage. - In addition to the rails, the box contained 8 bolts, and easy to follow instructions. - Actual installation was a breeze. Any novice with a ratchet and 15mm socket can do this with zero problems. Incidentally, I used some blue Loctite on the bolts. - My car is lowered on Steeda Progressive springs, so I found it real convenient to lay a mirror on the floor, with a small light bar aiming up. I look forward to actually using the rails when I install my 1" AM Spacers tomorrow.

I was able to lift the whole car and place my jack-stands!
All right, so the rails have arrived! Packaging was excellent, as it has been with everything I've ordered from Steeda. Rails are wrapped tightly and well protected- no need to worry about them banging together during shipping. Install was a breeze. I'm lowered on Eibach Sportlines (for now) and I did not even bother to put the car in the air. Just removed the two bolts in the front (almost next to the front sub-frame, but closer to the pinch weld) and slide the jacking rail into position, balancing it on my knew while I put all the bolts in just finger tight. I did notice that there was a bit of seam sealer pushing against the jacking rail, so it wasn't sitting perfectly level. You probably don't need to trim it; sure it'll sit in there just fine, but you might as well. After that, I just took the bolts out one at a time, hit them with some Loc-Tite and tightened them down. Then just repeat on the other side. Very easily installation, pretty much self explanatory. Instructions do mention having the elongated hole in the front, and the welds on the bracket towards the inside. Installation took maybe 20 mins, with taking pictures. Tested them out, they work without issue for me. I was able to lift the whole car and place my jack-stands!

BUY THESE FIRST
Took all of 15 minutes to install. Makes jacking the S550 a breeze and much more secure on jack stands. This should of been the very FIRST bolt on available. If you haven't begun your mods and are going to be doing any job on jack and jack stands, BUY THESE FIRST.

It's very quick, simple, and safe
I ended up getting the Steeda jacking rails. I was able to install them with the car on the ground. I can jack up one side of the car all at once and place the jack stands on the rail. Then I jack up the other side and repeat the process. It's very quick, simple, and safe.

Gave them a quick test and the car was stable
Installed mine today. Easy quick install. I tried first installing it by keeping the car on the ground, using a mirror to unbolt... which was fine, but getting the rail in and putting the new bolts in was kinda challenging without an extra set of hands. Ended up jacking the car and put it on jack stands. Put the jackstands on the correct location near the rear tire, and another at the last rocker cutout by the front tire. Held the car fine and made bolting in the rails a 5 minute (or less) proposition. Seems sturdy enough. Gave them a quick test and the car was stable.

Doesn't line up on convertibles
I would have given these rail 5 stars for all the reasons others here have written. My only beef was the installation on my 2015 convertible. I tried to find information before I bought the rails on how to install on a convertible, and all I found was there is a suspension piece that has to be moved. Well, after a couple of hours I got the rails on but I had to use a drill to open the suspension holes, and the rail holes because they will NOT line up.

Super lightweight and work great
Hey guys. Just thought I'd share a mod I installed that will make your life a lot easier for those who plan on doing your own maintenance. Steeda Ultralight Jacking Rails. Took about 15 minutes. No worries about hitting the factory cutout jacking holes or damaging your pinch welds. Super lightweight and work great. I'm changing my own oil and rotating the tires and these work great with placing your jackstands.

Installation was an absolute breeze
I installed mine yesterday. Installation was an absolute breeze. My jack and stands don't have a soft coating, so I'm looking for something to cover the yokes with, and I'll keep a piece in the car for any instance that I have a roadside emergency. Worst case, they're easy to remove, and could probably be coated with spray-on bed liner.

I think these are an excellent solution
I think these are an excellent solution for two purposes: (1) obviously as a jacking rail and (2) as undercarriage protection if you are lowered (the rails will hit a speed bump before "the car" will, for example). The only reason I did not provide 5 stars is because they do not extend as far back as I'd prefer. Now, really no matter where you lift from the pinch bolts you're going to bring the whole side of the car up so jacking from closer to the center vs. all the way toward the rear wheel makes no difference in the end. But, I want that protect back there, too. I understand, though, that these are designed such that the rear braces can be mounted as well and cost management probably didn't support mounting the brace to the jacking rail, but that would have been preferred IMHO. The finish on these holds up fine enough with just a cloth on the jack pad (I don't have a rubber pad and I have no intention of getting one only to lose it later). It makes some sounds when you first put the car up in the air as it settles, but that's fine. I cleaned the underside of the car before mounting these so no rocks or bits of road crap get in-between the rail and the car and I've jacked someone's car up who didn't do that and put on competition jacking rails and that thing cracked and creaked like crazy until all the pieces of crap under it were crushed. I like that these are lighter than the competition, too.

One of the most useful mods one can do
After having these on my car since December, it's one of the most useful mods one can do, even though it doesn't add speed, appearance or handling. I just put my car up on stands last night and it was quick and simple with the jacking rails.

Fit and finish is perfect
Fit and finish is perfect, which is the standard with Steeda. I installed these on a customers 2016 Convertible Mustang with only having to notch out two bolt holes on the rear subframe crossbars to allow clearance for the rear gusset on the jacking rail.

Great product
Great product. Works really well. Saves me a lot of time. Instructions could be a LOT better. Identifying the right side from the left side is not as easy as it shows in the instructions. In fact, I think the instructions are wrong (backwards) based on what was shipped to me. No mention of removing the 15MM bolts in the rear. There is one on each side to be removed. References to the pictures in the instructions lack clear direction. It should notate figure #1 directly after installation reference #2. No reference to what figure 2 is in the instructions. There is just the picture. Instructions should be written so a novice can install, especially if you are doing this install on your back on the ground per the instructions.

I was having my wheels changed at the Ford Dealership and the technicians said that it was a great kit and they wished it was on the car from the factory. Thank you Steeda!!
