Once again you asked for it and Steeda has delivered! The team at Steeda was asked to come up with a lightweight Jacking Rail system that didn't add a bunch of weight to your 2015+ S550 Mustang fastback coupe. Made in-house from the same material we have used to keep Fox Mustangs from flexing for 25+ years, these Jacking Rails feature CAD-designed, laser cut, high-strength steel brackets and stout 2" x 1" steel tubing.
Powdercoated wrinkle black for a low key, yet durable finish, these will last a lifetime under your 2015-2019 S550 Mustang. Unlike the competition, Steeda includes Zinc-plated, flange-headed, grade 10.9 hardware - a simple bolt-in design that can be removed at any time as they use factory mounting holes. These allow you to jack up your Mustang with confidence anywhere along the jacking rail, preventing damage to your factory pinch welds. They provide a great point for jack stands and 2 post lifts. Lastly, these will work with Steeda's IRS Subframe Support Braces without interference. Steeda's new Ultra Lite Low-Profile Chassis Jacking Rails add convenience and function to your American made muscle car.

Hi everybody Brian from Steeda.com. Here today to show you our Ultra-Lite, Low-Profile Jacking Rails for the S550 Mustang.
The premise behind jacking rails is pretty simple in fact it's right in the name, Jacking Rails. The idea is to make the car easier to raise and lower and to work on. Even if you're taking your car to the local shop, they're going to enjoy and appreciate the fact that they can put the legs of the lift right underneath these Jacking Rails. If you're working at home, it makes it much easier to locate the jack under the car and even better you can do it at one centralized point and raise one whole side of the car.
Now for those of you going to the racetrack frequently are again autocrossing your car, these make it easier to locate the jack underneath. Rather than trying to find the appropriate places on the pinch welds while at the track which again we all know is difficult! These have a two-inch wide surface and they sit down an eighth of an inch lower under the car. So it's easy to slide the jack underneath, locate the jacking pad to the jacking rail and raise one side of the car. We usually recommend raising it somewhere around even with the mirrors. It's about the center point but again depending on weight distribution of your particular car, kind of a little bit of trial and error, of course all safety rules apply but kind of a trial and error to see exactly where that center point is to raise both wheels at the same time nice and easily. This means brake pad swaps, wheel and tire changes are nice and easy can do one side at a time. You don't have to worry again about damaging your pinch weld or anything else. These make it so much easier!
Since we always have racing on our minds, we also designed these to work in conjunction with our subframe support braces. They're also under 12 pounds which means you've really adding very little weight to the car. Especially for the ease and convenience that they offer. These are straightforward, simple installation. All the necessary mounting hardware is provided and no modifications to the car are required. We finish them off in a durable black powder coat finish. To help protect against the jack stands and other things that might be used to again raise and hold the car up in the air. We do recommend using jack stands with pads to keep the powder coat looking nice and keep the bars themselves well protected. We do back them with our lifetime guarantee and we proudly manufacture these in Valdosta, Georgia.
