Once again you asked for it and Steeda has delivered! The team at Steeda was asked to come up with a lightweight Jacking Rail system that didn't add a bunch of weight to your 2015+ S550 Mustang fastback coupe. Made in-house from the same material we have used to keep Fox Mustangs from flexing for 25+ years, these Jacking Rails feature CAD-designed, laser cut, high-strength steel brackets and stout 2" x 1" steel tubing.

Powdercoated wrinkle black for a low key, yet durable finish, these will last a lifetime under your 2015-2019 S550 Mustang. Unlike the competition, Steeda includes Zinc-plated, flange-headed, grade 10.9 hardware - a simple bolt-in design that can be removed at any time as they use factory mounting holes. These allow you to jack up your Mustang with confidence anywhere along the jacking rail, preventing damage to your factory pinch welds. They provide a great point for jack stands and 2 post lifts. Lastly, these will work with Steeda's IRS Subframe Support Braces without interference. Steeda's new Ultra Lite Low-Profile Chassis Jacking Rails add convenience and function to your American made muscle car.

Ultra Lite Jacking Rails
Very easy install - toughest part was removing seam sealer to get a nice flat fit, but no big deal. So much more comforting that now no contact with pinch welds when jacking - perform well. Very pleased with purchase!

Mandatory item if you ever jack up your car
If you've ever crushed a pinch weld you will know that jacking rails are a mandatory item. The Steeda rails came quickly and at a reasonable price. They were simple and easy to install and took about 15 minutes without a lift. I recommend having some sort of rubber or non slip jack pad as it is possible for these to slip off your jack.

No issues bolting them my 2018 Mustang GT
No issues what-so-ever installiong these on my 2018 Mustang GT except only needed to remove one of the rear bolts as these rails lined up with the front chassis bolt (rear) and the other hole (rear) aligned with an usused tapped chassis hole. Installed with Blue threadlocker and torqued to 50-lb/ft.

Great Product
I just ordered these up for the 2018 Mustang GT I have on order. I'm most likely going to change out the shifter when the car comes in so i plan on spending some quality time under the car and i know after doing my 2014, that these will definitely help get the car up in the air. One hint I'd like to share for those worried about knicking the paint on the rails is that hockey pucks make great jack pads and they are cheap at any sporting goods store.

A Must have if you do your own work.
Great product well designed and easy to install. I used the original factory bolts and replenished the blue Locktite that was on the original bolts. I believe the original bolt is a better quality. The jacking rails work as advertised.

This is a fantastic kit!
This is a fantastic kit! I installed it just under an hour. I know it does not make your car go any faster but, this is a great addition for peice of mind and particality. I was having my wheels changed at the Ford Dealership and the technicians said that it was a great kit and they wished it was on the car from the factory. Thank you Steeda!!

Great product
Great product. Works really well. Saves me a lot of time. Instructions could be a LOT better. Identifying the right side from the left side is not as easy as it shows in the instructions. In fact, I think the instructions are wrong (backwards) based on what was shipped to me. No mention of removing the 15MM bolts in the rear. There is one on each side to be removed. References to the pictures in the instructions lack clear direction. It should notate figure #1 directly after installation reference #2. No reference to what figure 2 is in the instructions. There is just the picture. Instructions should be written so a novice can install, especially if you are doing this install on your back on the ground per the instructions.

Fit and finish is perfect
Fit and finish is perfect, which is the standard with Steeda. I installed these on a customers 2016 Convertible Mustang with only having to notch out two bolt holes on the rear subframe crossbars to allow clearance for the rear gusset on the jacking rail.

One of the most useful mods one can do
After having these on my car since December, it's one of the most useful mods one can do, even though it doesn't add speed, appearance or handling. I just put my car up on stands last night and it was quick and simple with the jacking rails.

I think these are an excellent solution
I think these are an excellent solution for two purposes: (1) obviously as a jacking rail and (2) as undercarriage protection if you are lowered (the rails will hit a speed bump before "the car" will, for example). The only reason I did not provide 5 stars is because they do not extend as far back as I'd prefer. Now, really no matter where you lift from the pinch bolts you're going to bring the whole side of the car up so jacking from closer to the center vs. all the way toward the rear wheel makes no difference in the end. But, I want that protect back there, too. I understand, though, that these are designed such that the rear braces can be mounted as well and cost management probably didn't support mounting the brace to the jacking rail, but that would have been preferred IMHO. The finish on these holds up fine enough with just a cloth on the jack pad (I don't have a rubber pad and I have no intention of getting one only to lose it later). It makes some sounds when you first put the car up in the air as it settles, but that's fine. I cleaned the underside of the car before mounting these so no rocks or bits of road crap get in-between the rail and the car and I've jacked someone's car up who didn't do that and put on competition jacking rails and that thing cracked and creaked like crazy until all the pieces of crap under it were crushed. I like that these are lighter than the competition, too.

Installation was an absolute breeze
I installed mine yesterday. Installation was an absolute breeze. My jack and stands don't have a soft coating, so I'm looking for something to cover the yokes with, and I'll keep a piece in the car for any instance that I have a roadside emergency. Worst case, they're easy to remove, and could probably be coated with spray-on bed liner.

Super lightweight and work great
Hey guys. Just thought I'd share a mod I installed that will make your life a lot easier for those who plan on doing your own maintenance. Steeda Ultralight Jacking Rails. Took about 15 minutes. No worries about hitting the factory cutout jacking holes or damaging your pinch welds. Super lightweight and work great. I'm changing my own oil and rotating the tires and these work great with placing your jackstands.

Doesn't line up on convertibles
I would have given these rail 5 stars for all the reasons others here have written. My only beef was the installation on my 2015 convertible. I tried to find information before I bought the rails on how to install on a convertible, and all I found was there is a suspension piece that has to be moved. Well, after a couple of hours I got the rails on but I had to use a drill to open the suspension holes, and the rail holes because they will NOT line up.

Gave them a quick test and the car was stable
Installed mine today. Easy quick install. I tried first installing it by keeping the car on the ground, using a mirror to unbolt... which was fine, but getting the rail in and putting the new bolts in was kinda challenging without an extra set of hands. Ended up jacking the car and put it on jack stands. Put the jackstands on the correct location near the rear tire, and another at the last rocker cutout by the front tire. Held the car fine and made bolting in the rails a 5 minute (or less) proposition. Seems sturdy enough. Gave them a quick test and the car was stable.
