Description

Product Install Instructions

Steeda's S197 Driveshaft Safety Loop is an easy install that does not require disconnecting your driveline . This NHRA compliant safety loop prevents the driveline from hitting the ground and / or coming through the floor of your car if a u-joints breaks.

The rear support of the twin rail design makes it stronger than the cantilever design of the competition. Because it installs onto existing hardware, there's no need to drill holes in the floorpan or remove your interior. It'll clear a 4" driveshaft and works with both 1 and 2-piece driveshafts. Best of all, the 2-piece loops mean you don't have to drop your driveshaft to install it.

Product Benefits

  • Driveline removal not required.
  • Stronger than the competition
  • Mounts to existing hardware, no drilling required

Customer Reviews

By far the best driveshaft loop in both build quality and fitment!
By far the best driveshaft loop in both build quality and fitment! Installed on my 11' GT in under an hour and it fit like a glove. The BMR single loop I had for the rear rubbed my driveshaft and left a mark (would have required shims). This one didn't require anything extra and does it's job and fits 1000% better than the BMR one did. If you're in the market for one of these please do not hesitate in buying this one, you'll be glad you did!

Thx
I installed the Steeda driveshaft loop on my lowered 2012 Mustang. It fit perfectly. It is the only setup that I found that works with a aftermarket drive shaft and a lowered car. Thx Steeda. Kent

Fits great.
This is a very high quality made driveshaft safety loop. The directions wasn't right for my 2011 V-6 Mustang with a automatic transmission. The back 4 bolt holes lined up perfect but the directions said the front 2 large bolt holes were to be mounted to the transmission cross member. It doesn't. The front larger holes did line up with two threaded holes the same size as the bolts used in the transmission cross member. I had to go to my local parts store and buy 2 bolts and washers 3/4 of an inch shorter than the bolts used in the transmission cross member. After doing this, everything tightened down and fit perfect.
