Description

Springs are the foundation of good handling. So start with the best.

Steeda's 2013-2020 Fusion lowering springs are in house engineered and custom made to our specifications.

Steeda lowering springs provide the best combination of handling and ride quality available while greatly improving the appearance of your Ecoboost Fusion. Steeda's Sport Springs will lower your Fusion by approximately 7/8" all around will noticeably improve handing and reduce nose-dive under braking.

Retain a comfortable ride while getting a boost in handling. The Steeda springs start at the factory spring rate and move to a stiffer spring rate as the spring compresses. This happens at a smoother rate than the factory springs offer and allows for a comfortable ride and great handling.

Steeda springs give your Fusion a lowered look and practical ride height. No worries about scraping your car when leaving driveways or going over speedbumps. The car is lowered enough to give a noticeable change in appearance and lower the center of gravity without interfering with daily driveability.

These springs fit all 2013-2020 Fusion 2.0L Ecoboost front-wheel drive and AWD models.

Note:
  • Does not fit the 2017 Fusion Sport
  • We have only tested fitment on 2.0L Fusions currently. These springs may fit other Fusions but we have not completed fitment testing yet.
Product Benefits
  • Better handling with more stable cornering while maintaining factory ride quality
  • Lower more aggressive stance
  • Good improvement in handling and noticeable reduction in nosedive

Hi everybody Brian from Steeda.com. Today we are highlighting our Lowering Springs for the 2013 and newer Ford Fusion. Introduced in 2013 the Fusion platform is proved to be very popular and with good reason. Four door functionality, great looks, great ergonomics and well, ok handling. This is where we come in with our Lowering Springs. These will lower the car approximately 7/8 of an inch at all four corners. This means that you still get great drivability around town or going in and out of steep driveways, as well as better handling, better steering response, better braking feel and you know it's just a more enjoyable car. These genuinely finish off the car the way it should have been. Like the factory pieces our Steeda Springs are progressive. This means that as the suspension compresses the spring rates get stiffer. Now that's where the similarities end. We utilize nearly the same rate to start with but then progress into a stiffer rate. The transition is also smoother into the stiffer rate, than the factory springs. This is how we're able to achieve great ride quality, yet improved handling. These can be paired with the factory struts and shocks but if you want to take things one step further and we know you do, throw on a set of sway bars, a strut tower brace and a nice set of aftermarket struts and shocks and you're gonna truly convert your Fusion. These will fit Fusions equipped with 1.5 1.6 and 2 liter EcoBoost engines, in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive trim levels. For your Fusion Sport guys, we didn't forget about you we have a specific set of springs available for the Fusion Sport. If you have any questions or comments about these please post them below. Great Stance
Since I have installed the Steeda springs I’ve noticed two big differences. The first was the stance, the second was how well it handles. The stance is perfect, with both 18” or 20” wheels. The fusion feels like it looks now.

Nice stance
Had these lowering springs put on a 2014 Fusion with a 2.5L engine. They fit just fine and I really love the stance. A little stiffer than stock but a great ride. Thanks Steeda!

After going on a "spirited" follow the leader cruise through some of our local back roads, the other driver had remarked how my fusion had the same or less body roll than his mustang gt. Granted his is a STOCK '16. I could not have driven the roads I drove today the way I drove them in stock form. I have waited a few weeks before I did this review as I wanted a reasonable amount of time to compare different driving situations and passengers. As a driver I am happy. As a passenger my wife, infant, mother, and 92 year old grand mother in law had no complaints about the ride. The same 92 year old who likes to find a reason to complain about everything! Well done Steeda. Not only am I happy with my car but family trips have 1 less thing to hear about! Thanks Steeda. Thanks Jigar Patel. I look forward to my next purchase.

Great ride quality
I have had the Steeda springs on for awhile now and I waited to write a review until I had some miles on them. I was shocked by how well they took the horrible PA roads and if your not familiar with the area, we have some of the worst roads in the US especially after winter. I have 20" wheels on with the Steeda springs and it still rode great and eliminated the sloppy factory ride. Improved handling, got rid of the annoying nose dive when braking hard but still managed to please the wife with a great ride and awesome stance. Thanks once again Steeda !!

Great
I went from a 2013 Fusion Titanium AWD to a 2014 and installed this strut tower brace and the Steeda springs before I drove the car and they made a huge difference in the way this car drives. Can hit corners quicker now with less noise from the front tires. This is comparing my 2013 with factory 235/40-19 tires to the new 2014 with my 205/65-16 winter wheels/tires. Front end also dips much less while braking. Since my first review I've installed the Steeda rear sway bar and my summer tires/wheels, 245/40-19 Continental extreme contact DW's. They claim it lowers 7/8", but it seems slightly more. With these tires and whatever the actual drop is, the look is perfect, no more gap between the tire and fender and the car responds much better. My only regret is not have these parts on my 2013 that I drove for 35,000 before finding the Steeda website and ordering a 2014.

Better handling
Better handling, less wheel gap, less nose dive, great stance. Ride quality is pactically the same as factory springs. What else is there to love?

Could not be happier
I bought the Steeda lowering springs for my 2013 Ford Fusion and I could not be happier. Right quality is so much better now, especially at freeway speeds. With stock springs, I could feel the car briefly sway and lean when passing a large vehicle at high speed. Most people would not be bothered by it, but that's no longer a problem with the Steeda springs. The cars feels planted and very stable when cornering and during tight turns. And the new stance makes my car look much more sportier, I would go as far as to say it makes it look menacing. The only issue was with installation, but it's not Steeda's fault. The 2013 Fusions require that the rear subframe be partially dropped in order to remove the stock springs. I had the springs installed at a local shop that specializes in lowering cars and it took them about 7 hours to get it done. So, it's not a simple installation. But these springs are a great value. It has greatly improved ride stability and handling. And the drop now makes my Fusion look awesome. It gives the car a sporty and menacing stance.
