Description

Upgrade your passenger side motor mount on your 2.0L Focus ST or 2.3L RS Ecoboost with our heavy duty passenger side motor mount and chassis bracket.

Steeda designed this motor mount for street and race use by providing two different bushing options. Our red bushings are softer and intended for street use with only minimal NVH increase, and the black bushings are harder and intended for race use. The race use bushings produce higher levels of NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) and are therefore not recommended for street use.

We not only replace the mount itself but provide a much stronger chassis mount bracket as well. This motor mount will help improve launching by eliminating any deflection which could cause front wheel hop and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Excellent Mount

Supreme performance!
So after doing the Steeda Rear Motor Mount (RMM) initially, and knowing about the break in (about 400-500 miles or so - for me about 2 weeks), I installed both the Upper Motor Mount (being reviewed here) with the red bushing, and the Transmission Mount. So after the initial increased NVH upon install, things really begin to settle down after a week... and even more so this last week. No weird vibrations, just the car being more communicative in terms of sound and feedback. Now, I have been completely unable to induce wheel hop of any kind, and torque steer is gone - like I installed a LSD! (limited Slip Differential). WOT in turns, coming out of turns, and straight gunning it - the car just goes with immediacy and wants to keep pulling! And that is with Eagle F1's which are famous for hop - why some switch to PSS. Driving the FoST is a blast, but even more so now! with power to the ground - now I am ready to talk tune!... "Yo Matt..."

Great piece
Installed with the transmission mount and rear motor mount and wheel hop has disappeared. The trade off with the low rpm viberation is worth it in my mind.
