Steeda's LCA's for S197 Ford Mustangs with X5 Extended Ball Joints raise the front roll center, eliminating the issues associated with cars lowered more than 3/4". They are compatible with OE spindles and do no require drilling making them the best choice for cars equipped with lowering springs. This makes for a great improvement in handling by reducing body roll and improving the front tire contact patch without increasing spring rate or sway bar rate. The rubber bushings are slightly firmer than stock for improved handling and quicker steering response. The rubber bushings will not cause NVH, EPAS issues, or steering shudder common with competitor arms using too high a durometer polyurethane bushings.

Steeda highly recommends a Bumpsteer Kit be used in conjunction. ( 555-8106 )

NOTE:18" wheels are required for clearance.

Product Benefits:
  • Reduces body roll
  • Improves the front tire contact patch
  • Higher durometer rubber bushings
  • No added NVH
  • Better handling for more stable cornering
  • Direct fit for 2005-2010 S197 Mustangs

CA Residents: Cancer and Reproductive Harm WARNING

Hi everybody Brian from here today to talk to you our S197 Front Lower Control Arms with extended height ball joints. A lot of you have been working on your cars whether it's due to needing to maintain them or because you've lowered them with shocks struts and of course springs. These control arms also include the main bushing, this bushing is made of a higher durometer rubber that will help alleviate any sort of highway vibration wheel shudder or any unwanted deflection that's so synonymous with the OE bushings. They'll also last you a lot longer. Now another integral part to these control arms is the extended height ball joint. This is going to correct the roll center that we spoke about earlier. Think of it this way the body of the car once you've lowered the roll center now has more leverage against the suspension this is going to decrease grip, decrease contact patch, decrease steering feel and decrease handling. So we've equipped these control arms with Extended High Ball Joints. This is going to bring the roll center back to the corrected point so the body doesn't have leverage against the suspension. This is important for a number of reasons, it's going to bring the contact patch back to where it should be. It's going to improve steering feel and most importantly it's going to improve cornering grip. These are going to improve the handling of your car, So whether it be an auto cross event a track day or just simply a canyon road you'll notice the difference right away and we provide all the necessary hardware including Zerk Fittings so that you can grease the ball joints throughout their service life, In addition to the mounting hardware for ease of installation. If you have questions about these control arms please go ahead and post it below be sure to visit us at and don't forget to follow us on social media. Thank you have a Great Day!!

Control Arms
These are amazing! I put them on my 2007 Shelby GT and they transformed how it rides, no more clunky front end, Installation was okay, videos made it look much easier than it actually was.
