I decided to replace these with the Steeda version, on my 2018 Ford Explorer, at the same time I was also replacing the stock rear sway bar with the Steeda version of the sway bar.
While the sway bar upgrade did wonders for the inherent body-roll issues, I do believe that also replacing the stock trailing arms with the Steeda version really stiffened the ride, something that some may or may not view as desireable. In my case, I find that it definitely stiffened my ride, which of course has handling benefits as well, but also the drawback of passing-along a lot more of the bumps, especially on rough or washboard roads... a change which was substantial.
I guess what I'm saying is that, if you like a really solid ride, and don't mind feeling a lot more of the bumps in the road, then this option is for you. If not, then just go with the Steeda sway bar kit, which is definitely an easy improvement for handling on turns, and leave it at that.
