Vertex 2.5-Inch Coilovers with External Reservoir. At the heart of this kit sit Rough Country's Vertex coilovers, each built around a 2.5-inch piston, nitrogen-charged monotube design. An external reservoir increases oil capacity and damping sensitivity, and eight stages of adjustment let you dial compression and rebound to match your load, terrain, or towing configuration. The 2.5-inch piston delivers 56% greater fluid capacity than a standard reservoir shock, reducing fade on long descents or sustained off-road use.
Heavy-Gauge Fabricated Steel Construction. Top-mounted reservoir brackets and coilover mounts are cut from 1/4-inch steel plate. Fabricated rear lift blocks replace the factory cast units for greater strength and a longer service life. Specially designed anti-axle-wrap rear blocks preserve stock ride quality while eliminating the axle wrap issues common to lesser block lift solutions.
Configurable to Your Specific Build. This kit ships in several configurations to match your truck's exact specifications. Choose between 3.5-inch or 4-inch axle fitment, with or without factory overload spring accommodation, V2 monotube or Vertex reservoir shocks, and an optional front driveshaft addition. Select the combination that matches your axle size, spring pack, and driveline before ordering.
Installation Requirements. Installation requires cutting and drilling and is estimated at 6 to 10 hours. The full kit can be completed at home with proper tools and mechanical experience.
