10-stage variable valving delivers real damping control. Rather than a fixed damping rate that compromises in every direction, the N3 piston adjusts damping across ten stages to match the terrain. Highway driving stays composed and quiet; rougher off-road inputs get firm, controlled damping instead of a wallowing rebound.
High-pressure nitrogen charge keeps performance consistent. Aeration is the enemy of shock performance, causing fade and inconsistent damping under repeated impacts. The nitrogen charge separates the oil from gas inside the 54mm shock body, preventing aeration and maintaining a consistent feel whether you are on lap one or lap ten of a rough trail section.
The internals are built to last in harsh conditions. An 18mm chromed hardened piston rod resists corrosion across all-weather use, a spring-loaded piston rod seal prevents leaks over time, and military-spec fluid rated to -40 degrees Celsius keeps the damper moving reliably in extreme cold. The shock body carries a 36kN tensile strength rating to absorb heavy impacts without yielding. Natural rubber bushings round out the package by absorbing high-frequency vibration and reducing road noise inside the cab.
Available in two lift configurations. Choose the correct kit for either a 1.5 to 3.5 inch lift or a 4 to 6 inch lift to match the suspension setup already on your Ranger.
