New tubular upper control arms keep geometry intact. Rather than relying on strut spacers alone, Rough Country engineered a set of tubular upper control arms that maintain optimal ball joint angles after the lift. Correct geometry means less accelerated wear on CV axles, ball joints, and tires over time. Each control arm uses Clevite rubber bushings for durability and noise isolation, preserving ride quality you would expect from a daily-driven truck.
Differential drop brackets preserve driveline angles. At 3.5 inches of lift, driveline geometry becomes a real concern. The included differential drop brackets reposition the differential to maintain proper axle angles, reducing vibration and drivetrain stress that can result from lifting without addressing those angles.
Powder-coated front strut spacers round out the kit. Laser-cut for a precise fit against the factory strut towers, the front strut spacers are powder coated black to resist corrosion and blend with the undercarriage. Two configuration options let you pair the spacers with your existing factory struts or upgrade to Rough Country N3 shocks for improved damping at ride height.
