Rough Country's N3 rear shocks replace those tired units with a high-pressure nitrogen-charged damper built to handle lifted trucks, heavy loads, and rough terrain across the full 2009-2026 F-150 and 2010-2025 Raptor lineup. 10-stage variable valving gives you control across every surface. The N3's valving adjusts damping through ten distinct stages, delivering a composed highway ride and confident off-road handling without requiring any manual adjustment. The 35mm high-performance piston works alongside that valving to maintain stability when the terrain gets demanding.

Built to run hard and stay consistent. A high-pressure nitrogen charge keeps aeration in check, so the shock delivers the same damping lap after lap on a trail or mile after mile on a washboard road. The 54mm shock body sheds heat faster than smaller-diameter units, preventing the fade that plagues shocks during sustained hard use. A spring-loaded piston rod seal locks out contaminants and keeps fluid where it belongs.

Cold-weather and corrosion resistance are built in from the start. Military-spec fluid rated to -40 degrees Celsius keeps the N3 working predictably in extreme cold. The 18mm piston rod is chromed and hardened for corrosion resistance, and the 36kN tensile strength rating means the rod handles heavy impacts without deforming.
