Rough Country's Vertex 2.5 Reservoir Coilovers bring serious off-road damping capability to your 2014-2026 4WD F-150. Built around a monotube design with an external remote reservoir, these coilovers handle heat and fade where a standard twin-tube shock falls short, making them a capable choice for hard trail use, heavy towing conditions, or daily driving on rough surfaces. Available in 2-inch, 3-inch, and 5.5-6.5-inch lift configurations, this kit lets you match the coilover to the lift your truck is already running or the stance you are building toward.

Monotube construction with remote reservoir cooling. The nitrogen-charged monotube body separates gas and oil for consistent damping response, while the external reservoir connected by a braided steel line increases oil volume and dissipates heat faster during sustained use. The result is less shock fade on long off-road sections and more predictable handling when the terrain gets aggressive.

A 2.5-inch piston built for heavy-duty use. The large-diameter piston pairs with an 18mm chrome-hardened piston rod to handle the structural loads a full-size truck puts through its front suspension. A honed steel body keeps piston travel smooth and consistent, and the heat-treated alloy bearing at the mount point adds longevity under repeated compression cycles.

Protection built into every layer. A 3-stage seal system blocks dirt, debris, and fluid from compromising the shock body over time. Outside the body, a zinc-plated finish with a double clear coat survives more than 400 hours of salt spray testing, giving these coilovers a long service life in wet-weather or coastal environments where corrosion is a real concern.

The 2-inch lift variant does NOT fit models equipped with the Continuous Control Damping (CCD) system, the 3.0L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V6, the Tremor package (factory 1-inch lift), or the Heavy Duty Payload Package (seven-lug models). The 3-inch lift variant is designed for vehicles already equipped with a 3-inch lift. The 5.5-6.5-inch lift variant is designed for vehicles already equipped with a 5.5-6.5-inch lift.
