Rough Country's 6-inch lift kit pairs forged aluminum steering knuckles with fabricated rear blocks, a full set of shock options, and a protective skid plate to raise the truck correctly from front to rear. The result is a level, aggressive stance with genuine ground clearance gains rather than just the appearance of them.

Forged aluminum steering knuckles set this kit apart. Cut 50% lighter than equivalent steel knuckles, they reduce unsprung mass at the front axle, which sharpens steering response and improves off-road control. Lower unsprung weight also means the suspension tracks terrain more accurately, a benefit felt on both rough trails and highway on-ramps. The aluminum construction resists corrosion through seasons of mud, salt, and water crossings.

Fabricated rear anti-axle wrap blocks outperform cast alternatives. Rough Country fabricates these blocks rather than casting them, producing a stronger component that maintains consistent rear axle positioning under acceleration. Anti-axle wrap geometry preserves stock ride quality by preventing the pinion rotation that can occur with a lifted leaf-spring rear end.

Multiple shock configurations let you match the suspension to how you drive. The kit is available with nitrogen-charged N3 shocks and struts for a durable everyday setup, M1 monotube shocks and struts for improved heat dissipation on demanding terrain, front and rear Vertex reservoir coilovers for maximum off-road performance, or a front Vertex and rear V2 combination. Each option bolts into the same kit structure, so the chassis upgrade stays consistent regardless of which damper path you choose.

A full skid plate protects what sits underneath. Trail debris, rocks, and ledges that become reachable at ride height are exactly what the included skid plate is built to deflect. It mounts to the underside of the truck and keeps vulnerable components shielded during use.
