Rough Country Super Duty 4WD V2 Rear Shocks - 0-4.5in Lift (2017-2026)

Stock rear shocks on a lifted Super Duty are a compromise, calibrated for a factory ride height that no longer exists. Rough Country's V2 Monotube Rear Shocks correct that mismatch, delivering consistent, fade-free damping across 0 to 4.5 inches of lift on 2017-2026 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks. Sold in pairs, they install in one to two hours with basic hand tools.

Monotube construction with an Internal Floating Piston. Unlike twin-tube designs, the V2's monotube body uses an Internal Floating Piston to keep high-pressure nitrogen completely separated from shock oil. That separation eliminates cavitation and aeration under hard use, so damping character stays consistent whether the truck is loaded on the highway or hammering washboard dirt roads.

A 46mm high-flow piston for rapid response. The oversized piston increases fluid capacity and accelerates response time through each compression and rebound cycle. Nitrogen charging further reduces fluid aeration during aggressive driving, maintaining stable handling where smaller-piston shocks begin to fade.

T6061 brushed aluminum body with an inverted mount. The aluminum construction sheds heat faster than steel, extending seal and fluid life on sustained off-road runs. An inverted mounting orientation keeps the shock body and shaft protected from trail debris and direct impact, adding to overall service life. Black anodized accents finish the look and add an additional layer of corrosion resistance.

36kN tensile strength rated for real-world Super Duty demands. The internals and housing are rated to handle the sustained stress of a heavy-duty truck in lifted applications, from towing on paved roads to technical off-road use.
