Rough Country Super Duty 4WD Pitman Arm (2005-2026)

Lifting a Super Duty changes the geometry of every steering component downstream of the gearbox. When the draglink runs at a steep downward angle, bump steer increases, steering vibration creeps in, and turning radius suffers. Rough Country's drop pitman arm corrects that geometry for 2005-2026 4WD F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks running 3 to 6 inches of suspension lift, restoring the factory steering feel you gave up when the lift went on.

Draglink alignment, restored. The drop arm repositions the draglink connection point to match the angle the factory engineers intended, eliminating the steep downward pitch that lifted trucks create. Proper draglink angle directly reduces bump steer and keeps the front axle tracking straight over rough terrain.

Turning radius stays intact. A lifted truck with a stock-height pitman arm loses steering lock because the geometry works against full articulation. The drop arm brings that range back, so the truck maneuvers on tight job-site turns and in traffic the same way it did before the lift.

Steering vibration, dialed out. Misaligned draglink geometry transmits road shock back through the steering shaft. Correcting the angle with a proper drop arm reduces that feedback at the wheel, making highway cruising noticeably smoother on a lifted rig.
