Rough Country's 2.5-inch lift kit adds a level, front-to-rear stance, corrects suspension geometry with forged aluminum upper control arms, and creates clearance for even larger tires, all without cutting, welding, or losing factory ride comfort. Estimated installation runs 3 to 5 hours with standard hand tools.
Front-to-rear leveling with no preload penalty. The kit eliminates the factory rake by raising the front to match the rear, giving the Bronco a clean, balanced stance. Suspension travel remains fully intact with no preload added, so articulation and ride quality carry over from the factory setup.
Forged aluminum upper control arms with high-angle ball joints. Cast from lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum, the included upper control arms restore proper ball joint angles in the lifted position. Greaseable, high-angle ball joints handle increased articulation demands while reducing stress and wear over time. Serviceability stays straightforward since the ball joints accept grease without disassembly.
Rear alignment stays dialed in. A rear track bar bracket is included to maintain proper axle alignment during articulation. A brake line relocation bracket keeps hydraulic lines routed safely at the new suspension height. Together, these components prevent the handling inconsistencies common to lift kits that address only the front end.
Room for larger tires. Models without factory crash bars clear up to 37x12.50 tires after installation. Models equipped with factory crash bars clear up to 35x12.50 tires. Either way, the kit opens up tire fitment options well beyond the stock configuration.
