Vertex coilovers built for serious use. Each Vertex unit runs a 2.5-inch piston, nitrogen-charged monotube design with an external reservoir for increased oil capacity and damping sensitivity. Rough Country states the 2.5-inch piston design delivers 56% greater fluid capacity than a typical reservoir shock, which translates directly into more consistent damping across rough terrain, washboard roads, and loaded towing conditions.
Secondary V2 monotube shocks included. The kit pairs each Vertex coilover with a V2 monotube shock that adds a second layer of damping control at the front axle. This four-corner damping approach keeps the front end composed under hard compression and rebound cycles where a single shock would run out of capacity.
Heavy-duty fabricated hardware. Coilover mounts and top-mounted reservoir brackets are constructed from 1/4-inch steel, giving the conversion a solid foundation that handles the leverage forces a lifted Super Duty generates. Brake line relocation brackets are included so routing stays clean after the suspension geometry changes.
