Swapping a 351W into a Fox-body Mustang or other Ford rear-sump chassis demands an oil pan that clears the stroker crank, manages oil under hard acceleration, and seals reliably for the long haul. Moroso's 351W oil pan delivers all three in a fully fabricated steel package finished in Moroso's own black powder coat, available in two configurations: a standard non-billet end seal version and an upgraded billet end seal version for builders who want maximum sealing confidence.
Two configurations to match your build. The non-billet version holds 7 quarts in a 9-inch deep rear sump and clears up to a 3.80-inch stroke with most steel rods. It fits 351W engines with 4-bolt centers only and does not clear 4-bolt front and rear main caps. The billet end seal version shares the same 7-quart, 9-inch deep rear sump geometry but clears a larger 4.0-inch stroke with most steel rods and accommodates all 4-bolt main cap configurations, including front and rear, thanks to fully fabricated steel construction paired with billet end seals.
Oil control built into the design. The non-billet version includes a removable anti-slosh baffle that keeps oil at the pickup under hard cornering or acceleration. The billet end seal version features an anti-climb baffle for the same purpose, holding oil at the pickup when g-forces push fluid rearward or to the sides.
Moroso Powder Coating throughout. Both versions carry a black powder coat finish applied in-house at Moroso, providing corrosion resistance and a clean appearance that holds up under heat cycling in an engine bay.
