This Moroso road race pickup tube keeps the inlet submerged and flowing during hard cornering, braking, and acceleration sequences, pairing directly with Moroso's dedicated road race oil pans for the Ford 289/302 small block.
Matched to specific Moroso pan geometry. The pickup tube is dimensioned to work with Moroso pans No. 20527 and No. 20533, positioning the inlet at the correct depth and angle within the pan's baffled sump. Using a pickup tube that was not designed for these pans risks oil starvation; this tube eliminates that variable.
Compatible with stock and high-volume pump configurations. The tube accepts stock oil pumps as well as M68, M68HV, and M10668 style units, so builders can run a standard-volume or high-volume pump without sourcing a different pickup to match.
Designed for use with the Moroso main cap girdle. The tube is intended for use alongside Moroso main cap girdle No. 22928, integrating cleanly with that system rather than competing for space or requiring fabrication.
Available with 1/2-inch main cap hardware. For builds using Dart SHP blocks or other blocks that require 1/2-inch main cap studs, this pickup tube is offered with the appropriate 1/2-inch stud included. Builders using standard hardware can select the version without it.
