A conductor built for low resistance and long life. Stainless nickel alloy wire wound 32 times per inch around a conductive, latex-coated heavy fiberglass core keeps resistance to 350 ohms per foot. That tight spiral construction also suppresses RFI so modern electronics and aftermarket gauges stay clean.
Two-layer EPDM jacketing handles underhood heat. A nylon reinforcing pull tape separates the two EPDM layers, adding pull strength so the jacket does not delaminate when you yank a wire during service. The inner insulation layer maximizes dielectric strength while the outer layer handles direct flame and radiant header heat.
Snap-lock terminals seat and stay seated. Silicone plug boots protect the connection in high-heat environments, and sure-grip snap-lock terminals click into place so wires cannot back out from vibration. The 135-degree boot angle routes cleanly on small-block Fords where straight or 90-degree boots fight the headers.
Pre-measured lengths eliminate guesswork. The set includes one wire at 36 inches (coil), one at 27.75 inches, two at 28 inches, one at 26.5 inches, one at 29 inches, one at 24.5 inches, one at 25 inches, and one at 28.5 inches, sized for the Ford small-block firing layout so routing stays clean without excess wire looping around the engine bay.
