No sealant needed. The rubber-to-steel construction creates a reliable seal straight out of the package. Skipping the RTV means faster pan drops during fluid changes and no cleanup between installations.
Built thicker than stock. At a full 3/16" thickness, this gasket compresses evenly across the pan flange, eliminating the thin spots and inconsistent crush that cause stock and inferior aftermarket gaskets to weep over time.
