Moroso's fabricated aluminum coolant tank replaces the stock unit with a stronger, higher-capacity reservoir purpose-built for boosted applications, whether you are running a Roush supercharger on a 2005-2009 Mustang or a Ford Racing supercharger kit on a 2011-2014 car.
Fabricated aluminum construction. The factory plastic tank degrades and fails under repeated high-heat cycles common to supercharged engines. This Moroso tank is fabricated from aluminum, which handles sustained thermal stress without cracking, warping, or leaking. It accepts the factory coolant cap, so no adapters or modifications are needed at the filler neck.
Increased coolant capacity over stock. More coolant volume means more thermal mass to absorb heat spikes during hard pulls. On the track or dyno, the tank can be packed with dry ice or ice to drop intake temperatures quickly, reducing charge temps for shorter elapsed times and more consistent power runs.
Finish flexibility. The aluminum construction leaves the tank ready to polish, chrome, powder coat, or leave bare, depending on the look of the engine bay. Compatible replacement caps include Ford 9C3Z-8101-B, Motorad T38, and Stant 10238.
