Supercharged 4.6L and 5.0L Mustangs push coolant systems hard, and the factory plastic coolant tank simply was not built for repeated high-heat cycles. Moroso's fabricated aluminum coolant tank replaces the OEM unit and mounts directly in the battery location, freeing up underhood space while dramatically increasing thermal capacity for your 2005-2014 Mustang.
Fabricated aluminum construction holds up where plastic fails. The factory coolant reservoir cracks and distorts after sustained exposure to supercharger heat. Moroso's aluminum tank resists deformation, handles repeated heat cycles without degrading, and can be polished, chromed, or powder coated to match your engine bay finish. Left raw, the natural aluminum still presents clean and purposeful.
Track-ready cooling capability. The tank accepts dry ice or conventional ice for track sessions and dyno pulls, dropping intake temperatures quickly for more consistent horsepower runs and quicker elapsed times. A fuel-cell-style filler cap and filtered outlet strainer keep the system sealed and debris-free under race conditions.
