Moroso's fully fabricated aluminum transmission pan replaces the factory stamped-steel unit on Ford C6 automatics with a precision-built piece that runs 2 inches deeper than stock. The added depth increases fluid capacity, helps lower operating temperatures, and gives the transmission a cleaner servicing experience than the OEM pan allows.
One-piece billet rail, CNC machined after welding. The rail is machined flat after the pan body is fully welded, eliminating the warping and sealing problems that plague welded pans machined before assembly. The result is a perfectly flat sealing surface that clamps down evenly across the gasket and stays leak-free through heat cycles.
Dual fittings for drainage and monitoring. A magnetic -8AN drain plug captures metallic particles suspended in the fluid before they can recirculate through the valve body, while a secondary 1/4-inch NPT port accommodates a temperature sender or additional drain option. Both fittings are built into the pan body rather than added as afterthoughts.
Serrated flange hardware included. The kit ships with serrated flange hex bolts that bite into the pan rail and resist loosening under vibration, so the pan stays torqued correctly between service intervals.
