Moroso's remote oil filter adapter for Ford 4.6L and 5.4L engines solves that problem by relocating the filter to wherever packaging allows, while also opening the door to external wet or dry sump oil pump plumbing.
Replaces the factory spin-on mount directly. The adapter bolts to the block in place of the stock oil filter housing, eliminating the original mount entirely. From there, braided lines route the filter to any accessible location in the engine bay, removing the clearance constraints that come with a block-mounted filter.
Multiple port configuration for versatile builds. Two -10AN female ports handle oil supply and return lines, while a -16AN female port provides a water outlet connection to the radiator. When the lower port is plugged with the included -10AN plug, the adapter enables plumbing of external wet or dry sump oil pump systems, making it a practical foundation for serious engine builds beyond basic filter relocation.
Billet aluminum construction. Machined from billet aluminum, the adapter resists the heat and pressure cycles of performance applications while keeping weight in check. All mounting hardware ships in the box, so the adapter arrives ready to install without hunting for additional fasteners.
