Road racing and aggressive track driving expose the limits of factory oil pans quickly. Hard braking, high-speed cornering, and sustained high-RPM pulls starve the pickup tube and send oil pressure dropping at the worst possible moment. Moroso's fabricated steel road race oil pan for the 2011-up Mustang 5.0L Coyote and Voodoo eliminates those moments with a rear T-sump design, a trap door, and a removable anti-slosh baffle engineered to keep oil at the pickup under the harshest conditions.

Rear T-sump with trap door and anti-slosh baffle. The rear sump layout and internal trap door work together to keep oil pooled at the pickup during hard braking and deceleration events. The removable anti-slosh baffle prevents oil from surging away from the sump under lateral load in corners, maintaining consistent oil pressure through extended high-g driving situations.

Fabricated steel construction with black powder coat finish. The pan is fully fabricated from steel and finished in Moroso's black powder coat for corrosion resistance and a clean underhood appearance. At 6-5/8 inches deep with a 7.5-quart capacity, it provides meaningful additional oil volume over the factory pan to help stabilize oil temperatures during sustained track sessions.

Retained factory serviceability with added performance fittings. The pan accepts the factory dipstick and the factory 20mm oil level sender fitting, so day-to-day ownership stays straightforward. Two 1/2-inch NPT ports are included: one for supercharger or turbocharger drain-back and one for an oil temperature sender. If the factory low-oil warning sensor will not be used, Moroso offers a 20mm plug with copper washer separately.

Generation-specific pickup compatibility. Gen 1 and Gen 2 Coyote engines use the factory oil pickup with this pan. Gen 3 Coyote and Voodoo engines require Moroso pickup number 24578. Gen 4 Coyote engines require Moroso pickup number 24581. Confirm your generation before ordering to ensure a complete installation.
