Moroso's 351W Power Pouch oil pan gives you a fully fabricated steel wet sump solution engineered around the tight engine bay constraints of 1979-and-later Mustangs, while delivering the oil capacity and control a performance build demands.
Nine inches deep with a rear sump kick-out. The 9-inch depth and rear sump kick-out design yields a 7-quart capacity, giving a high-output 351W the oil volume it needs under hard acceleration, cornering, and braking. The kick-out pocket keeps oil available to the pickup under conditions that would starve a flat-bottom pan.
Anti-slosh baffling keeps oil at the pickup. An internal anti-slosh baffle controls oil movement during aggressive driving, preventing aeration and oil starvation at the pickup tube. Combined with the power kickout, the pan maintains consistent oil pressure where the engine needs it most.
Fabricated steel construction with billet end seals. The pan body is fully fabricated steel finished in Moroso's black powder coat for corrosion resistance and a clean appearance. Billet end seals replace the troublesome rope or rubber seals common to older Ford applications, delivering a reliable, leak-free seal at both the front and rear of the pan.
Clears 4-bolt mains and a 4.0-inch stroke. The pan clears all 4-bolt main caps, including front and rear locations, and provides clearance for a 4.0-inch stroke with most steel connecting rods, making it compatible with common Windsor stroker combinations.
